    SUMMARY:
    Works collaboratively with campus administration in the design and implementation of school-wide
    instructional initiatives based on campus data and in alignment with district goals. Works specifically with campuses with a high number of economically disadvantaged students and therefore acute academic needs. Develops professional capacity at campus, plans and collaborates with staff, reports to campus principal and collaborates with the campus administrative team to design functional learning environments.

    • Provide staff development on an as-needed basis in the areas of successful instructional strategies, at-risk interventions, and curriculum modification and acceleration.
    • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and support for the district’s curriculum, processes and instructional initiatives.
    • Promote a supportive, positive, and professional attitude regarding all aspects of the job responsibilities, administration, and district/campus goals.
    • Coach teachers at assigned campuses in the implementation of the district’s curriculum.
    • Coach teachers at assigned campuses in the engagement of all students.
    • Develop teachers on instructional best practices through modeling, coaching, and presentations.
    • Work collaboratively with campus administration in an effort to support teachers in need of assistance regarding areas defined as needing growth.
    • Communicate openly with campus administration on a regular basis regarding observations and activities with teachers.
    • Work collaboratively with district-level instructional support personnel to identify and implement instructional and curricular modifications and adjustments on an as-needed basis to engage difficult-to-educate students.
    • Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to implement appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, and materials to ensure learning success of students.
    • Work with appropriate staff members to develop effective individualized plans and make adjustments as needed.
    • Model and maintain positive teacher/student relationships in order to mentor effectively and foster a positive learning environment.
    • Utilize effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.

    MENTAL/PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
    • Maintain emotional control under stress
    • Frequent travel
    • Occasional prolonged and irregular hours
